on Jun 16, 2009There are pores in an earthen pitcher through which water comes out to the outer surface. When this water evaporates, cooling is produced. For evaporation, heat is required and water gets this energy form the walls of the pitcher which in turn makes the pitcher cooler making the water’s temperature lower. |
