Herbivores are those animals which eat plants and fruits. The herbivores do not have proper stomach, In place of that they have an intestine which has a capability of breaking down the plants. Herbivore animals have flat teeth which they use to chew food. As herbivores animals do not have stomach so the eat several times a day to fulfill there body requirement. And that’s why they need a lot of energy to stay alive. Lots of plants are required for the survival of herbivore in ecosystem. Some examples of herbivores are cow, goat and deer etc.

Carnivores are meat eater animals. They have very large mouths with pointed teeth. These pointed teeth help them to hold their prey and chew their flesh. As compared to herbivores carnivore animals have large stomach but small intestines. Their stomach use to be so large that it can hold the entire fish at a time. Carnivores are found sometime eating plants and vegetables but their digestive system do not have the ability to digest it and drive nutrient from it. Carnivores eat generally both herbivores and omnivores. Animals like carnivores which eat other animals for their living are generally important for ecosystem. Because they control overpopulation of the other species.

Omnivores eats variety of food. Omnivore animals can eat both vegetables and plants. Beside the fact that omnivore animals can eat any kind of food still there are some plants and grains which they cannot digest. Teeth and digestive system of omnivore animals posses the quality of both herbivores and carnivores. Chicken is the example of the omnivore, they can eat seeds but they can also eat some other worms. Chimpanzee is omnivores they eat fruits leaves and also birds fish etc.
