Life has its own ups & down. And these ups and downs effect man and its life. Everyone feel down in life at certain stage. When the things in life is not going right and one feel fed up of life these type of feelings are refer as depression. The difference between feeling down and depression is basically their intensity and duration. If healing process gets prolonged then it’s called depression. If a person feeling upset due to some reason and this feeling cause change in eating habit. Loose of sleep and concentration in work, Loose of weigh, thoughts of self harm & suicide. Negative thoughts about future. All these are symptoms of depression.



Major depression is the most serious type of depression. People having major depression feel suicidal and they have long history of hospitalization.



Dysthymic Disorder is the moderate type of depression. Its time period vary from 2 to 3 years. The symptoms of Dysthymic depression are not as severe and prolonged as of major depression.



People having chronic and moderate depression is said to have unspecified depression. The time period of unspecified depression is shorter than the Dysthymic Disorder.



A person having depression due to some major life loose event or crisis is said to be Adjustment disorder, with depression.



And then there is bipolar depression. Bi means two. A person suffering from bipolar depression suffers from two types of mood low and high moods of depression. The symptoms of bipolar depression patient are not present in other depression patients.



There are several medicine and pills to take one out of the depression. But the patient of depression should try on their own to get rid of negative feelings. There are many ways to do so. Depression person should try to spend time with people with whom they feel relax and comfortable. They should try to fight with their negative thoughts no matter how strong they are. If they feel relax by speaking out what is making them depress then they should share it with their closed ones. They should learn and practice to love themself.The best way is to look at their surrounding if they do so they will find much more people in more sever condition then themselves. They should take things in reality and accept the life the way it is. They should not give themselves in hands of situation instead of that they should try to overcome the situation by their will power.
