Containment Measure testing is used to examine system response against trojan attacks and virus attacks. Trojans are executable codes that disguise as innocent or beneficial programs such as audio, video, game crack etc. On execution they create backdoor channel for hacker thus giving him access to system. Similarly virus is malicious code that is attached with file. Virus can spread within system and from system to system. They can download further code, modify and delete files and registries. First auditor defines the resources required to defend against malicious codes based on organization policy. Then auditor checks the available resources separates them accordingly on there significance with respect to threat and illegal access.
