Charles Babbage was the person who gave the idea of the computer to the world. Charles Babbage is known in the world as father of computing. Charles Babbage was born in 1971.Charles Babbage was basically interested in designing a calculating machine. That’s how idea of computers came to his mind. The basic idea behind the invention of computer was machines which calculate all the logarithmic tables in seconds. In ancient time before the invention of computer and when there was no other way of calculation the counting was limited just to the human 10 fingers of toe and hands. Abcus was the first type of counting machine. Abacus is device in shape of a frame with vertical rods fixed in it. These vertical rods carry beads and these beads are basically use for counting. Abacus is still use in schools at early stages to teach children addition & subtraction. But with the passage of time as Mathematics got more complex calculation through abacus became difficult especially of very large digits. Then different calculation devices were invented to make complicated counting easy for human. And at last the idea of computer was given by Charles Babbage in 1834.

And we all know that computer is used in almost every part of life. It will not be wrong if we say today’s generation is a computer generation. Computer has made our daily life very easy and fast.
