Chemical and Biological weapons are not allowed to be used in warfare through the Biological Weapons Convention of 1972 and the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993. Hollow point bullets are also prohibited for military use.



Although nuclear weapons are not banned, their use is likely to be as a last resort.
