How can I keep a pet hamster?

answered by walton (36 points)

The golden hamsters which is reddish-brown above and grey underneath is one of the most popular household pets. It adapts very well to cage life but it is so tame that it can be let out to wander about the home freely. The hamster will let itself be picked up and stroked and will also answer when called by its master. In fact, it can be a real friend to children and keep them amused.

Twice a day the hamster cleans itself very carefully. A healthy hamster has thick, soft fur and no unpleasant smell. The hamster also keeps its nest very clean. It always leaves its droppings in the same spot and throws them out of the cage if it can. When it finds food it stuffs it into the roomy pouches inside its jaws and then hides it in his nest.

When buying a hamster makes sure the animal is young. Always buy two males unless you want them for breeding. Hamsters are very prolific, the female producing several litters a year. A young hamster has very flexible ears covered in fine hairs, bright eyes, a smooth, soft coat with no scars or discolorations.

The following are some rules regarding the care of hamsters. If the animal’s cage is small it must be fitted with a treadmill so that the hamster can exercise itself at night. A hamster needs to move around a lot and it can run as much as it likes on the treadmill.

A hamster will eat almost anything: bread, biscuits and small pieces of meat. But it also must have vegetable rich in vitamins such as carrots and lettuce. Another important item is grain food, including sunflower seeds. It is not necessary to put a lot of food in the hamster’s cage, especially if the food is perishable. The hamster hoards food in his nest and these reserves can go bad and cause infection.

What happens during the implementation phase of SDLC?

answered by walton (36 points)

The process of assuring that the system is operational and then allowing user to take over its operations for the use and evaluation is called implementation. In this phase it is discussed, how to implement the system? Also performance of the system is accessed and evaluated. Suggestions are also given to remove the drawbacks and improve the performance of the system.

When the software is developed then it is ready to implement. From the system point of view, the successful implementation of the new system is crucial. Implementation simply means converting a new system into operation. This involves creating compatible files, training the operating staff and installing the hardware.

There are several conversion options available that will reduce the risk of mishap in the new system. There are five conversion methods for implementation.

Direct Conversion is the method of conversion manual system is entirely replaced by the new system. Then the presently working system is abandoned and the new system becomes complete operational on the real data.

Parallel Conversion allows us to compare both the old and the new system. Both systems run simultaneously, and merits and demerits of both are observed.

Pilot Conversion asks the new system to be partially implemented, until it can be determined that the new system can works correctly.

Modular Prototype Conversion is the approach of conversion which uses the building of modular, operational prototypes to change from old system to new in a gradual manner.

Distributed Conversion refers to a situation in which many installations of the same system are contemplated, as is the case in banking.
